Note to self: Never trust the weather report, weather men or women (gender doesn't really matter) or their weather forecasts. Ever.

Crystal ball gazing into the future was never humankind's forte. Although that can't be blamed... Mother Nature has never been known to be predictable Probably why it's a she rather than a he, haha (;

Because of the inaccurate prophecy, I also became a victim of her temperamental weather changes. I recall waking up happy to clear blue skies with sunny weather.

All that changed when I was already waist deep in the pool..

Needless to say, my plan to soak up the sun ended up with me being literally soaked. The only saving grace was that the weather held up long enough for me to complete my workout, albeit in a rush.

Oh yeah, I learnt another thing today too (the hard way). When the warning label states: Keep away from eyes.

They mean it - Sunscreen and eyes don't go hand in hand.

If you're looking for proper eye protection from the sun, opt for sunglasses instead. Reckon the reason the whites of my eyes are looking uncharacteristically white right now is because of this. Haha!
